CAPSA'11 Companion Programme

Delegates to the CAPSA'11 conference are invited to bring along a companion to the event.

The companion programme includes:

Sunday 11 September 2011 –      From 18:30 - An invitation to the ice breaker function (including food, drink and entertainment)

Monday 12 September 2011 –    10:00 – 15:00 - A visit to sites of local interest in the area (including lunch)

                                                                From 18:30 – An invite to the Exhibitors’ function (including food and drink)

Tuesday 13 September 2011 -     10:00 – 15:00 - A visit to sites of local interest in the area (including lunch)

                                                                From 19:00 – An invite to the Gala dinner (including food, drink and entertainment)

Wednesday 14 September 2011 - From 10:00 – 13:00 - A visit to sites of local interest in the area (lunch at the conference venue)

12th September 2011:  08:30-17:00

Midlands Meander Scenic Drive Through The Meander

08:30 – Departure from Champagne Sports Resort reception

09:45 – Arrival at the Mooi Linen Loft

11:00 – Visit the KZN’S Premier Winery on the Midlands

13:00 – Light Luncheon at Rawdons under the Oaktree; Visit the Midlands Brewery

13:45 – Visit stop off points such as, Born in Africa – Lizzard & Sishinka brands, Tsonga Leather Goods and Howick Falls and by pass Nelson Mandela capture site en route through the midlands

15:30 – Depart back to Champagne Sports Resort

17:00 – Arrival back at Champagne Sports Resort

Inclusive of Wine Farm Entrance fee, lunch and drinks.

Cathedral Peak Valley Tour and Visit to Bushman Centre

09:30 – Meet at Champagne Sports Resort reception and depart

10:30 – Arrival at Didima Bushman Centre

11:30 – Departure from Bushman Centre

11:45 – Arrival at Cathedral Peak Hotel for a light lunch

13:30 – Departure from Cathedral Peak

14:30 – Arrival at Thokosisa Arts and Crafts Centre

15:30 – Departure from Thokosisa

16:00 – Arrival back at Champagne Sports Resort

Inclusive of Parks Board entrance fee, Bushman Centre entrance fee, lunch and drinks at Cathedral Peak.

Valley Tour including Falcon Ridge (half-day)s 

09:30 – Meet at Champagne Sports Resort reception

10:00 – Departure from Champagne Sports Resort

10:10 – Arrival at Falcon Ridge for Falconry Display

10:30 – Falconery Display at Falcon Ridge

12:00 – Departure from Falcon Ridge

12:15 – Arrival at KwaZulu-Natal Rug and Candle Factory

12:45 – Depart from Candle Factory to Champagne Sports Resort

13:00 – Arrival back at Champagne Sports Resort Conference Centre for lunch

Note:  teas/coffees/cold drinks/water and snacks will be available on the bus for all three days
